Tree Planting
Year 1 and 2 thoroughly enjoyed being stewards of God's creations by planting donated trees on our school field.
Charities that we have helped...........
- During Lent, the children joined the Cafod Walk against hunger campaign.
- At Christmas, the Mini Vinnies wrote and delivered Christmas cards to our local residents spreading lots of Christmas cheer!
- In the Autumn term, the Mini Vinnies organised and sold cakes to all of the classes then invited our families to join us at the end of the day for tea and cake. It was great to be able to get back together as a community.
- In response to the invasion of the Ukraine and the displacement of many Ukrainians, our school community were amazingly generous in donating a huge amount of supplies for the 3 minis appeal. Our families were able to follow the journey from Bridgetown in Cannock to Poland.

As we enter Holy Week, we remember the trial of Jesus and his subsequent death on the cross. The children have worked hard on reproducing the “Stations of the Cross”, each one telling a different part of the story of what happened during those few days. This is a very powerful and moving piece of work. Well done to all the children involved. Pleas click on the Stations of the Cross video below.
